Funding and support

Landowners maybe able to access grants or other support to help with protecting, restoring, or managing native vegetation. This page gives you information about the current programs.

There are also opportunities to attain funding to support your conservation works through Significant Environmental Benefit, depending on your land and projects.

Native Vegetation Heritage Agreement Grant Program 2023-2026

For owners of Native Vegetation Heritage Agreements to access support and grant funding to enhance biodiversity on their land.

For landowners wanting to establish a new Heritage Agreement or expand an existing Heritage Agreement.

Significant Environmental Benefit (SEB) Grants

The NVC may offer SEB grants for on-ground projects that improve the condition and protection of an area and aim to achieve targets of regional or state-wide significance.

For long term (5 - 10 year) projects that will provide a significant benefit to native vegetation by improving condition and increasing protection through a new Heritage Agreement.
