Nature Restoration Grants 2024-2026
Native Vegetation Council (NVC) Nature Restoration grants are for long term (5 - 10 year) projects that will provide a significant benefit to native vegetation by improving condition and increasing protection through a new Heritage Agreement. As such, these grants are not available for areas that are already protected e.g. by Heritage Agreement.
In the past 21 months the Native Vegetation Council has run 3 rounds and to date approved 23 applications sharing over $13.1 million to protect and improve 25,754 hectares of native vegetation.
Information on future rounds is likely to be announced later in 2026.
