Two people working together on control of plant weeds in Belair National Park

Native Vegetation Council (NVC) Nature Restoration grants are for long term (5 - 10 year) projects that will provide a significant benefit to native vegetation by improving condition and increasing protection through a new Heritage Agreement. As such, these grants are not available for areas that are already protected e.g. by Heritage Agreement.

Since August 2024 the Native Vegetation Council has run 3 rounds and approved 26 applications sharing over $14.4 million to protect and improve 15,615 hectares of native vegetation.
