Freedom of Information requests and Council Statement

A freedom of information (FOI) request can be made of the South Australian Heritage Council as it is deemed an "agency" for the purposes of the FOI Act.

In the first instance you are encouraged to contact the Executive Officer of the South Australian Heritage Council to clarify that your request is being made to the correct agency.

There is a significant amount of information that is already public and this can be made available without the need to fill out an FOI request.

You can contact the Executive Officer via telephone (08) 8226 2127 or via email dewheritage@sa.gov.au.

If the FOI pathway is what you require, you are encouraged to visit the State Records website to learn more about the FOI process here.
