Spatial GIS data

Spatial data can be imported into a geographic information system (GIS) and used to represent geographic features such as topography and built infrastructure. This is a powerful tool for making decisions relating to land management.

Spatial datasets can be provided in multiple file formats to suit your GIS system.

Spatial data can also be viewed through our department's online mapping applications Nature Maps and WaterConnect . A number of spatial datasets can be freely downloaded from SA Government Data Directory

For further information about our spatial data, contact Mapland.
