Flood information management

The department is improving the way it manages South Australian flood information by developing a new or improved system to manage the receipt and storage of flood studies and flood maps. The project will also enhance how flood risk information is made available online to the public.

By improving flood information management, this project will help foster a resilient South Australian community and environment to ensure we are better prepared to respond to and recover from flooding.

The current Flood Awareness Map will be reviewed as a part of this project.

The South Australian Government has committed $818,000 towards the project, which will run to June 2026.
