Understanding wastewater system requirements

In order to gain longer tenure for a Crown land or national park shack, lessees must comply with contemporary safety, amenity and environmental standards. This includes having a compliant wastewater system installed at each shack site and a commitment to ongoing maintenance of these systems, which will be outlined in the lessee’s lease agreement.
