A multitude of maps for the Wild South Coast Way

A number of maps are available to help plan a Wild South Coast Way journey.

Heysen Trail sheet map 1 covers Cape Jervis to Kuitpo Forest on the Fleurieu Peninsula. The fold-out double-sided, water resistant map sheet includes detailed 1:50 000 topographic maps of the sections of the Heysen Trail that the WSCW follows. It is currently being updated to show the new campgrounds and to acknowledge the Wild South Coast Way.

PDF maps are available for Deep Creek National Park and Newland Head Conservation Park and show all the trails within those parks, as well as park facilities. These maps are currently being updated to include the new walk-in campgrounds.

Smartphone or tablet maps are available for download via the free Avenza Map app and enable interactive national park maps to be on hand when needed. Topographic Heysen Trail maps 1a and 1b (covering the WSCW) are also available to purchase for a small fee. The app uses built-in GPS to plot real-time locations onto a map. The app can be used without a network connection and without roaming charges.

The Wild South Coast Way Tourism Partnership Kit includes maps and trail profiles for the seven hero experiences (sections of the trail that showcase its highlights) and ten additional trail experiences.

The interactive WSCW map shows the eight campgrounds located along the trail and includes links to book campsites.
