Halloween Party Wail at the Gaol is back for 2021

Where better to stage a Halloween party than a spooky, possibly haunted, old prison?

Halloween Party Wail at the Gaol is back for 2021

One of Adelaide’s longest-running Halloween events is back for 2021, bigger and better. After a short break, this year’s Wail at the Gaol features more trick or treat.

Adelaide Gaol manager, Gary Joyce said the family-friendly event would have games, face painting and a range of spooktacular activities.

“The team has worked hard to turn up the spooky factor for this year’s Halloween event,” he said.

“The gaol will be full of friendly ghosts and ghouls, with inflatable entertainment from a jumping castle, slide and mega obstacle course on offer.

“For those that are feeling brave, venture into New Building where your nerves will be tested with our brand new, and even scarier, experience.

“For the first time, Wail at the Gaol will host the Gaol Road Markets, which will feature 50+ stall and a food court. The market will run from 10am – 2pm (with some food trucks remaining until the Gaol closes) with live music between 2pm – 6pm.
