Fishing with Riverland Rangers
join NPWS Riverland Rangers for a full day of fishing in this beautiful location. If your new to fishing, learn the tips and tricks developed from years of experience fishing in this area. If you're a fishing expert, just come and join in the fun!
There will be prizes to be won, as well as lunch provided.

Meet the rangers: Campfire chat and snacks
Come and join local National Parks Rangers for a meet and greet and some campfire food.
Ask your burning questions about what we do, the importance of our local parks, and any Ranger tips or tricks to having an awesome National Parks adventure.
When: Friday 17 April
Time: 4pm-6pm.

River Detectives
The kids will love this one! Follow the trail with the Rangers, explore Katarapko to gather clues, and uncover some of the secrets of this part of the park.
Use the newly developed River Field Guide to discover the region and complete the River Detectives Challenge.
Some drinks and snacks will be provided on the day.

Botanical Art Class with Gilbert RM Dashorst
Immerse yourself in this unique, natural landscape through illustration with one of Australia's leading botanical Artists.
Gilbert was the Scientific, Botanical Illustrator at the State Herbarium for 30 years, illustrating plants for scientific publications, State, National and Overseas. One of his many Illustrated books was 'The Plants of the Adelaide Plains and Hills'.
Materials will be provided at the event.

Come along and spot the local ranger who will be roving through Murray River National Park for the month of April.
