The winners of DEWNR’s Sea Pixels photo competition and People’s Choice Award were announced on Friday 7 July 2017.
The State Heritage Unit, DEWNR and the Minister for Sustainability, Environment and Conservation, the Hon Ian Hunter MLC congratulate the following winners:

Category 1 - Underwater shipwreck
Wayne Leifert - Wreck of the vessel South Australian (Dredge) in St. Vincent Gulf

Category 2 - Shipwreck at the tidal line (above water)
Brandon Creighton - Wreck of the vessel Pisces Star near Cape Banks, South East

Category 3 - Video/motion picture capturing images of a shipwreck

Category 4 - Wildlife and maritime heritage

People’s Choice Award winner
Steve Chapple - Wreck of the vessel Pisces Star near Cape Banks, South East

The winner from each category was awarded a certificate to recognise their winning entry, while the overall winner, plus the winner of the People's Choice Award won an escape to stay at one of DEWNR's accommodation options in a South Australian national park to the value of $450 each.
