Stand up and speak out against violence towards women

On 26 July, staff at DEW are committing that they will ‘stand up, speak out and act to prevent violence against women’ in honour of White Ribbon Night. Are you willing to commit to the oath too?

Visit the Level 5 kitchen to sign the White Ribbon Oath*

If so, you can sign your name on the whiteboard in the Waymouth Street Level 5 kitchen any time on 26 July. Regional staff are encouraged to set up an oath whiteboard in their office, too.

This activity supports DEW’s broader gender equality and respect initiatives.

For more information or for assistance to arrange a regional activity, contact Executive and Quality Assurance Officer Koral Lane on 8204 9279.

If you need help with violence or abuse, or wish to seek support for someone experiencing violence or abuse, 1800RESPECT offers a 24-hour help and support service via phone (1800 737 732) or online chat

In addition, staff are encouraged to talk to DEW’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) through the online portal. Further information on the EAP is available on iShare (internal access only).
