There are several workshops coming up in July and August that can help you to understand racism, grasp the basics of record management or learn about procurement and contract management.
There are still places available in the following workshops:
Our Responsibilities on Aboriginal Country Training 3: Understanding Racism – 11 July or 18 July
Participants will watch the video ‘Colour of Fear’, a 1.5-hour film with eight North American men from different backgrounds talking about race relations in America, as seen through their eyes. The screening will be followed by a 30-minute group discussion.
Records Management Basics – 16 July or 21 August
Get on top of record-keeping and learn how to use iShare and the hard copy records management system to meet your responsibilities.
Procurement and Contract Management in DEW – 20 August
Learn about procurement principles and the seven stages of procurement in DEW, as well as insurance requirements, contractors and consultants, credit card use and disposal processes.
