Our Responsibilities on First Nations Country Training 2: Understanding Privileging – 20 February
Develop a deeper understanding of privilege and privileging and how it operates in our society. Learn about the many different types of privilege and how it impacts on the way people can move through the world, have opportunities or meet barriers and discrimination.
Records Management Basics – 26 February or 19 March
Get on top of record-keeping and learn how to use iShare and the hard copy records management system to meet your responsibilities.
Our Responsibilities on Aboriginal Country Training 3: Understanding Racism – 4 March
In this session, participants will watch ‘Colour of Fear’, a 1.5 hour film with eight North American men from different backgrounds talking about race relations in America as seen through their eyes. The screening will be followed by a half hour group discussion.
Manual Handling and Office Ergonomics – 25 March
A 2-hour session of useful information on manual handling techniques, exercise, posture awareness, back care and self-management strategies. It will increase awareness of optimal manual handling techniques and how to minimise musculoskeletal spine and strain injuries.
