Australian Regional Tourism Convention

The virtual ART Convention is a must-attend event for those with an interest in regional tourism. This year’s convention theme is ‘Building resilient and adaptive communities that thrive’.

Tourism Industry Council South Australia’s Tourism Restart Conference

After postponing SA’s annual tourism conference, the Tourism Industry Council SA (TiCSA) will deliver a hybrid Tourism Industry Restart Conference. The full day program will be hosted in Adelaide and at nine satellite events across regional SA.

When: Monday 2 November, 9.30 am – 5.15 pm (plus networking event)
Where: Adelaide Oval, plus nine regional locations

Global Eco Asia-Pacific Tourism Conference

Global Eco attracts the world’s leading ecotourism operators, protected area managers and tourism professionals and is once again offering a great program.
Tourism and Visitor Services Manager Chris Thomas will be presenting ‘How Australia’s Tourism and Parks Agencies are Supporting Tourism Recovery’.
If there is enough staff interest, DEW may host a satellite hub in Adelaide.

Interpretive Guide Certification training

The National Association of Interpretation (United States-based) is offering its Certified Interpretive Guide training virtually for a limited time. This 32-hour course is seen as the leading certification program for interpreters.
