From 1 September you will be required to report all new workplace hazards and incidents using MySAFETY, the South Australian Government’s new work, health and safety (WHS) reporting system.
The previous reporting system, Hazard Incident Reporting Module (HIRM) will remain open to allow entry of hazards and incidents until 5pm, 31 August. After this date HIRM will be restricted to authorised persons within your agency to access and close any open reports until 30 October.
The new and improved MySAFETY features include:
- psychological hazard reporting
- restricted record workflow for sensitive incidents
- simplified ‘single sign on’ for DEW employees
- access for workers without government email through the guest portal.

MySAFETY will also be available as a mobile app and can be downloaded from the Apple or Android stores by searching for ‘CAMMS Incident Manager’. For instructions on how to download and install the MySAFETY mobile app refer to the Quick Reference Guide (QRG1).
