COVID-19 UPDATE – 1 June

The South Australian Government has recently announced the easing of COVID-19 restrictions relating to gatherings and events.  This means that, with certain conditions, your event may comply with current Covid-19 requirements.

To find out more about the limits applying to public gatherings to help stop the spread of COVID-19, visit the South Australian Government’s COVID-19 website.

In order to conduct certain events and activities in a national park or reserve, you must make an application to the department.

Example of activities that require a permit include fishing and surfing competitions, fundraising walks, product demonstration days and bike races, amongst others.

For more information about the different types of application forms and how to complete them, download the events application form fact sheet.

Forms are to be lodged at least 60 days before your event, or 90 days for co-managed parks.
