On-park Volunteer Support Grants

On-park Volunteer Support Grants are available to community groups every year to support volunteers in undertaking ‘on park’ activities on DEW-managed land.

Grants of up to $5,000 are offered with the funding focused on on-ground activities in the state’s national parks and reserves.

Projects can be across any part of the state including the Simpson Desert, Eyre Peninsula, Whyalla, Vulkathunha-Gammon Ranges and Adelaide and Mount Lofty Ranges. Projects can range from weed control, revegetation and environmental monitoring and habitat restoration.

The current 2020–21 Volunteer Support Grant application period has recently ended. The Volunteer Support Grants for 2021–22 will be open for applications later in 2021.  Any community group is encouraged to apply with support from National Parks regional staff.
