On-park Volunteer Support Grants

On-park Volunteer Support Grants are available to community groups to support volunteers in undertaking ‘on park’ activities on DEW-managed land.

In 2017, grants of up to $5,000 were offered with the funding focussed on on-ground activities.

Fourteen applications were approved for projects across the state including the Simpson Desert, Eyre Peninsula, Whyalla, Vulkathunha-Gammon Ranges and Adelaide and Mount Lofty Ranges. These projects ranged from weed control to restoration, fencing, revegetation and environmental monitoring.

All successful and unsuccessful applicants have been notified.

Applications for grants will be reopened in late 2018, funding permitted.
