Garden Blitzes offer the public the chance to make a real difference at one of the state’s most interesting and historic gardens with likeminded green thumbs.
Typically starting around 8:30am volunteers of all ages and gardening abilities engage in a range of activities including mulching, weeding and planting natives.
Then, around midday, it’s tools-down for a free sausage sizzle where you can celebrate your contribution with family and friends (old and new).
Garden Blitzes run twice a year – in spring and in autumn. Watch this space, stay tuned to the Garden’s social media accounts and sign up to our e-newsletter to keep up-to-date with upcoming dates and announcements!
