Go home, lorikeets - you're drunk!

Date posted: 24 November 2017

Each year in late spring/summer, Adelaide Botanic Garden's Rainbow Lorikeets (Trichoglossus haematodus) have a squawking, tipsy party in our Schotia brachypetala tree - commonly known as the Drunken Parrot Tree.

Check out our video to find out why these beautiful birds are so noisy right now, and where you can find the tree.

The party should continue for about a fortnight.
