Seal Bay offers one of the rarest and most exceptional nature-based experiences in the world. Our tours are designed to suit a wide variety of visitors – you can stay all day if you want to!

Seal Bay Experience

There are no enclosures or cages at Seal Bay. Instead, you will be taken into the heart of the colony where our experienced guides will teach you more about these endangered animals. Visitors given a unique insight into how these endangered animals fish, surf, rest, interact with their pups and defend their territory.

This is a truly exceptional wildlife experience not to be missed. The fee for the guided tour includes access to the boardwalk so you are able to see everything Seal Bay has to offer.

Boardwalk Self-Guided Experience

If you prefer, you can set your own pace on the wheelchair accessible 800 metre boardwalk which meanders through the dunes to a number of viewing platforms. The lookout offers amazing views of Cape Gantheaume and the wilderness area

The Boardwalk experience gives you a great view over the sand dunes where the sea lions rest and play. A large platform at its end provides a spectacular spot to watch the sea lions on the beach and swimming in the water.

The Boardwalk lets you take things in your own stride – perfect for those on a tight schedule, or for those who want to take all day.

Twilight Tours

The Seal Bay Twilight Tour is not to be missed.

This extended tour gives you the opportunity to walk amongst the Australian sea lion colony in the early evening as the sun bathes the beach in golden light. The trip is also exclusive, meaning you'll be the only group on the beach at a magical time of day.
