Get to know the residents of Seal Bay via a guided tour.
Our tours take you into the colony where the sea lions rest and relax and our knowledgeable guides will tell you all about sea lion behaviour and physiology. Or you can walk along the boardwalk giving you a birds-eye view of the colony.
The park is open from 9am-5pm every day (except Christmas Day), and tours are run at regular intervals from 9am. During the SA summer school holidays the park is open from 9am-6pm.
Seal Bay experience
Experience Seal Bay up close as your guide takes you into the colony where you can walk among the resident Australian sea lions.
You'll learn about the biology, breeding and behaviour of these animals. Be sure to bring a camera, because the photos won't disappoint.

Boardwalk self-guided experience
The Boardwalk experience gives you a great view over the sand dunes where the sea lions rest and play.
The Boardwalk is 300 metres long (600 metres return) and you can set your own pace. It is wheelchair friendly and a good alternative for those who are unable to walk on the beach. A large platform at its end provides a spectacular spot to watch the sea lions on the beach and swimming in the water.
The Boardwalk lets you take things in your own stride - perfect for those on a tight schedule, or for those who want to take all day.

Sunset Tour
The Seal Bay Sunset Tour is not to be missed.
This extended tour gives you the opportunity to walk amongst the Australian sea lion colony in the early evening as the sun bathes the beach in golden light. The trip is also exclusive, meaning you'll be the only group on the beach at a magical time of day.

The tour is only available in summer.
