Welcome

Welcome to the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters, a city of 35,000 residents and more than 6,000 businesses which is well known for its cultural diversity, vibrant cosmopolitan atmosphere and easy going lifestyle.

Featuring tree-lined streets, 180 hectares of beautiful parks and gardens, unique heritage architecture and some of Adelaide's most popular dining and shopping precincts, our City is one of the most highly sought after places to live, work and play in South Australia.

Ideally situated between the gentle slopes of the east Adelaide foothills and Adelaide's central business district, we pride ourselves on being a community that embraces our multicultural heritage by celebrating our differences and rewarding our achievements.

With four natural creeks among our environmental assets we have a strong focus on protecting our environment for future generations and acknowledge the Kaurna People as the traditional custodians of the Adelaide Plains of South Australia, on which our City resides.
