The Dutchmans Stern Conservation Park
The bluff known as the Dutchmans Stern, located 25 km north east of Port Augusta, is a prominent landmark. The rugged landscape is home to a host of plants and animals (wildlife), many of which are at the edges of their distributions. Climbing the Stern offers spectacular views of Spencer Gulf, surrounding ranges and the Willochra Plain. Other walking trails include the Heysen Trail.
