How can I help?

Friends of Innamincka and Strzelecki Regional Reserves

The Friends of Innamincka and Strzelecki Regional Reserves volunteer group assists in many practical ways with the maintenance, management and promotion of these reserves. The group organises visits to the parks, working bees and fundraising functions. New members are always welcome.

Volunteering

We must involve the community in parks management to encourage ownership of our parks. This can be achieved by becoming a part of the consultative process by joining one of our National Parks Consultative Committees or becoming actively involved in parks and wildlife management through Friends of Parks Groups.

The Volunteer Support Unit, within the Agency, coordinates such groups. There are 141 Friends of Parks Groups throughout South Australia and seven Consultative Committees.
