Mount Lofty Summit

Mount Lofty Summit, the majestic peak of the Mount Lofty Ranges in the Adelaide Hills, provides spectacular panoramic views across Adelaide's city skyline to the coast. Each year more than 350,000 people visit the peak which rises more than 710 metres above sea level.

The Summit complex features a visitor centre where you can learn more about the Summit and surrounding nature-based tourist attractions. The visitor centre's gift shop is a great place for quality souvenirs. The shop displays Australian made items, as well as a variety of locally handcrafted gifts.

Adjacent to the visitor centre, take in spectacular views of Adelaide at the fully licensed The Summit Restaurant and Café. For more information about The Summit Restaurant and Cafe, including opening times and menus, visit www.mountloftysummit.com.

From here, follow the popular walk down to Waterfall Gully, join the Heysen Trail or stroll along a walking trail through native bushland to Cleland Wildlife Park.
