1:2 500 & 1:10 000 Standard Series
This series covered greater metropolitan Adelaide and major country
towns and was available as either a:
- Cadastral Map
Cadastral referring to the spatial representation of the legal
land parcel boundaries.
- Topographical Cadastral Map
Topographic referring to the natural and built features on the
land surface plus the cadastral layer.
- Topographical Cadastral Orthophotographic Map
Orthophotographic referring to a map accurate aerial image plus
the Topographic and Cadastral layers.
The type of map produced was dependent on data availability over
the area being mapped, and not all map types were printed. Only
those maps that were printed have been included on the Historic
Map CD set.
If more than one map type was printed the Topographical Cadastral
Orthophoto map was the preferred product selected for this CD series.
When both the 1:2 500 Learn
more and 1:10 000 Learn
more scale maps exist over the same region, and space is available
on the CD, both scales of maps have been provided on single CD.
1:25 000 Mapping Series
This series was produced from selected 1:50 000 mapping coverage
over Greater Metropolitan Adelaide. The data required for this series
was enlarged from 1:50 000 to a scale of 1:25 000 with
