Changes to Significant Environmental Benefit (SEB) Offsetting
We are reforming the way that offsetting takes place in South Australia.
The aims of the reforms are to:
- improve the consistency in how SEB offsets are determined
- provide greater opportunities and flexibility for proponent in providing an SEB offset
- improve the environmental outcomes achieved through SEB offsetting
- ensure that South Australia's native vegetation offsetting approach is consistent with national and international standards.
