Black Hill Lodge

As the residence for the keeper of the Torrens Gorge Weir, this dwelling was an integral part of the scheme that supplied Adelaide’s first reticulated water.
North Adelaide
Railway Station (150Kb PDF) - War Memorial Drive, North Adelaide
This is the only original station building still existing on the Adelaide to Gawler railway line, which opened in 1857 as the first part of South Australia’s northern railway network.

The Inglewood Inn was a stopping place along the new North Eastern Road, which was established as one of the main transport routes out of Adelaide. The township of Inglewood took its name from the inn.
