Junior Dolphin Guardians are ambassadors for the dolphins in their
community, advocating for the protection of dolphins and their habitat.
As a student in South Australia you can become a Junior Dolphin
Guardian by working through the Adelaide Dolphin Sanctuary Education
Resource, and participating in three actions from a range included
on this website (see Actions
and Activities), or working through the resource and choosing
your own environmental actions that you feel relate to what you've
learnt in the Adelaide Dolphin Sanctuary Education Resource.
Once this has been completed and you feel you understand the main
issues around protecting dolphins and their habitat your teacher
can then contact the Department for Environment and Heritage
to receive your Junior Dolphin Guardian certification.
