Department for Environment and Heritage (DEH) relies on volunteer support and community involvement to undertake projects on parks and to assist with the conservation of biodiversity.

Friends of Parks

Friends of Riverland Parks is a group of volunteers from most sections of the Riverland. The common aim is to assist DEH in the conservation of both wet and dry land areas within the local district. The Group assists with activities on parks including fauna surveys, tree planting and pest animal control.
