DEWNR Alumni

A significant amount of knowledge and experience has passed through this organisation through those who have worked here. As a means of staying connected with people who have left DEWNR, the Alumni was established. It offers opportunity, for those who so desire, to continue to make an active contribution to the work of the department, either as a volunteer or in a paid capacity.

Previous employees of the department are encouraged to register with the Alumni. Alumni members will receive regular information about the department and information about potential opportunities to be involved in DEWNR's work, should the need arise. Information about registering is below.

Who is eligible to join the DEWNR Alumni?

Former DEWNR staff who have a minimum of twelve months cumulative service with the department and current and former members of DEWNR boards/committees are eligible to join the DEWNR Alumni.

The department has had a number of name changes over the years. Those who worked with us under a previous name are welcome to join the DEWNR Alumni.

Alumni benefits

DEWNR Alumni members will receive:

  • regular communications about current DEWNR projects and programs
  • information about opportunities for alumni to continue to contribute their talents to the work of DEWNR
  • opportunities to network with current DEWNR staff.

Membership of the DEWNR Alumni is free and your level of participation is entirely your choice.
