Campground Hosts Program

This program brings volunteers into the national parks campgrounds in many beautiful parts of South Australia. The hosts set up onsite at the park for an agreed length of time. They welcome visitors, help them to choose a site and settle in, provide information and generally make their visit special.

Hosts provide their own caravan or tent and set up in a campground during a busy holiday period. They derive a great deal of pleasure by helping others to enjoy their holiday, and by helping the rangers with their work. Hosts meet lots of people and make new friendships with visitors and staff alike.
