Kangaroos

If you see a kangaroo on the road, slow down and keep your distance.

A kangaroo on a suburban road is likely to be an escaped pet. It will be frightened and disoriented and likely to pose a traffic hazard.

The police should be contacted if the animal is on, or near, a busy road as they have the authority to stop or divert traffic.
