Much to celebrate this World Environment Day

Monday 5 June is World Environment Day and is the perfect time to celebrate South Australia’s pristine environment and how it sustains everything we love about our state.
The World Environment Day theme for 2017 is Connecting People to Nature. South Australia’s Healthy Parks Healthy People approach helps to do this by working to ensure all South Australians are connected to nature and recognise it as an integral component of their health and wellbeing.
South Australia has achieved so much that now makes it easier for people to connect to our unique environment. The below video covers just some of South Australia’s environment achievements that we are celebrating this World Environment Day.
World Environment Day is an opportunity for everyone to reflect on all of the actions – big and small – that we can take to contribute to our healthy environment. This World Environment Day, we encourage everyone to celebrate the environment and find out how you can make a difference.
