Thanks a million

Date posted: 15 May 2013

It is National Volunteer Week and DEWNR would like to say 'thanks a million' to the thousands of volunteers who dedicate their time to conserving our natural environment and heritage sites for future generations.

From urban to remote, from coastal to desert, from city to outback – our volunteers are there all year round, making an enormous contribution to our natural resource management.

Whether they're planting, weeding, counting or camping, the one thing all of our volunteers share is a commitment to conserving the natural environment and to helping to keep South Australia’s parks special.
