Managing native vegetation
The Native Vegetation Act 1991 and the Native Vegetation Regulations 2003 outline the management of native vegetation on private and public land in South Australia.
These rules promote the conservation and regeneration of native vegetation and also seek to ensure personal and public safety.
DENR and the Native Vegetation Council provide a guide to the Native Vegetation Regulations 2003 (992kb pdf) to help clarify issues related to the clearance of native vegetation.
