Research grants
The annual Native Vegetation Council Research Grants program funds research into the preservation, enhancement and management of native vegetation in South Australia.
This program funds research only, on ground restoration works are funded through significant environmental benefit grants.
Research proposals should seek to enhance our knowledge regarding the conservation and management of native vegetation in South Australia and achieve one or more of the following outcomes:
- inform and assist in the development of native vegetation policy
- inform the conservation status of species or communities
- provide specific recommendations to improve habitat or biodiversity conservation
- assist in the conservation, restoration and management of native vegetation in South Australia.
Applications should include a detailed description of the project, setting out clear aims, objectives and methodology of work.
Project timelines should be a maximum 12 month. Projects that address high priority issues will be considered for a timeframe of up to three years.
