Northern Flinders Ranges Project

The Flinders Ranges has some of the most recognisable and iconic landscapes in South Australia, and outstanding environmental, cultural and tourism values. It is also one of the most geologically diverse areas in Australia.

The Northern Flinders Ranges Project is a partnership between DENR and the Department of Primary Industries and Resources SA (PIRSA) to develop policy and zoning arrangements to ensure there is a balance between conservation and resource use in the area.
