Fishing in parks

South Australia's multiple-use marine parks will allow for many uses including fishing and aquaculture.

Marine parks are being developed in close consultation with the fishing and aquaculture industries to have minimal impact on their current and future activities

Within each marine park there will be particular zones or periods of time when some activities will not be permitted. Areas of high conservation value will be designated as either Restricted Access or Sanctuary zones to protect habitats and species. Fishing and aquaculture will not be permitted in these zones.
